Kidepo National Park
Travelers on a visit to Karamoja region make it a point to go see and spend time at Kidepo Natural Park this park is ranked as Uganda third largest best National Park that lies in northeast of Karamoja subregion more than 500 kilometers from Kampala, bordering South Sudan to the north west.

Pian Upe Wildlife Reserve

This wildlife Reserve is being run and managed by the Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) in partnership with Karamojong Overland Pian Upe Wildlife Reserve has a rich diversity of flora and Fauna species as well as place of safety to primate species.
Visitors at this reserve get the chance to engage in too many activities like game drive bird watching, a visit to Napeded rock art site as well as sighting many creatures hence creating unforgettable memories.
How to Get There
Karamoja can be reached by using both road and air transport
By Air Transport
By air Karamoja can be reached from Entebbe international airport or kajjansi Airfield near Kampala city. The Uganda domestic flight network offers arrange of scheduled direct aircraft up to Kidepo airstrip, Lomeja airstrip or Apoka airstrip all these airstrips are within Karamoja Region.
The flight can take approximately two hours After wards the driver guide will transfer client to the desired place.
By Road Transport
The drive takes approximately nine to ten hours excluding the stop over from Kampala to Karamoja covering a total distance of almost 565kilometers.
